De Kleine Prince Cancellation Policy

No Refunds, Credit Notes Issued:

In the event of a cancellation, De Kleine Prince does not offer standard refunds for your reservation.

Instead, we will issue a credit note for a future stay.

This credit note will be for the full amount you originally paid, covering the exact same number of nights booked in your original reservation.

Credit Note Validity:

The credit note will be valid for one year from the original booking date.

This means you can rebook your stay with us any time within that one-year window.

Using Your Credit Note:

To utilize your credit note, please contact our reservations team at least 14 days prior to your desired new arrival date.

During this call, you will need to reference your original booking reference number and the credit note itself.

Our reservations team will then assist you in finding suitable availability based on your desired dates and room type (subject to availability).

The credit note can only be used for accommodation charges and cannot be applied towards any additional services or incidentals incurred during your future stay.

If the cost of your new reservation is less than the value of your credit note, the remaining credit will stay on file for future use within the one-year validity period.

Conversely, if the cost of your new reservation exceeds the value of your credit note, you will be responsible for paying the difference at the time of booking.

Exception: Documented Family Emergency or Loss

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise.  In the unfortunate event of a documented family emergency or the loss of a close loved one, De Kleine Prince will make a good faith effort to issue a full refund upon presentation of valid proof.

Valid Proof Examples: This documentation can include a certified copy of a death certificate, a doctor’s note outlining a serious medical emergency affecting a close family member, or other official documentation substantiating the emergency.

Close Loved One Definition: For this policy, a close loved one is considered to be a spouse, parent, child, sibling, or grandparent.

Processing Time: Please allow up to 10 business days for us to process your request and issue a refund after receiving the necessary documentation.

Important Notes:

This cancellation policy applies to all reservations, including those made through third-party booking agents. 

De Kleine Prince reserves the right to amend this cancellation policy at any time. We will update this policy document accordingly. It is your responsibility to review the most current policy prior to making a reservation.
